Marianne Radley is the Chief Marketing Officer for Smoothie King, one of the largest smoothie destinations in the world and the first health & fitness fast casual brand of its kind. Joining the company in October 2022, Marianne leads all brand marketing, advertising, sales, PR, and product innovation for Smoothie King, across its 1300 locations worldwide. Since joining the brand, Marianne has been instrumental with new product development and revitalizing the brand with bolder, more disruptive marketing. In Marianne’s first full year with Smoothie King, the brand reported 11.5% same store sales growth.
Prior to joining Smoothie King, Marianne served as the Chief Brand Officer for YUM! Brands, overseeing Pizza Hut’s $6.3 Billion U.S. business with direct responsibility for the brand’s advertising, media, marketing, and culinary teams. Prior to that, Marianne served as the Sr Vice President of Global Marketing for Monster Beverage Company, overseeing marketing, product innovation and sponsorship for the $32B global brand. Additionally, Marianne spent 15 years at Anheuser-Busch InBev and was the first woman to lead the Budweiser brand in the company’s history, receiving multiple marketing and product innovation accolades, including Forbes Top 100 Women in Brand Innovation, Adweek’s Top Women to Watch and the Cannes Lion Award for Marketing Effectiveness.
Recognized as a purpose led executive, Marianne most recently served as the CEO for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County, assuming the role during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. During her tenure, she grew the organization from three clubs serving 2,100 children annually to eight clubs serving close to 8,000 youth annually. Additionally, she transformed the organization’s financial outlook, increasing its cash-on-hand by over 500% within her first 12 months.
Marianne is a proud graduate of Clemson University, and currently sits on the University’s Board of Directors for the Erwin Center for Brand Communication. Today, Marianne calls McKinney, Texas home where she lives with her husband Paul and their four children.
