Sheila Bennett is the Executive Director of CORE: Children of Restaurant Employees, a national nonprofit organization that helps restaurant employees with children who face a life altering health crisis or natural disaster. She has vast experience in the restaurant industry working for the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, in foodservice distribution, restaurants, technology and Share Our Strength where she engineered and led the Dine Out for No Kid Hungry. In 2021, She was named to Nation’s Restaurant News POWER LIST – Reader’s Choice Award and received the Phila Award, Category: Patti Myint Award issued by the Nashville Scene in partnership with the Nashville Farmers’ Market and the Metro Human Relations Commission. She serves on the board of directors for les Dames d’Escoffier, Nashville chapter and give back to the industry beyond her position with CORE.
