Camille Hymes serves as Chief Operating Officer at Smoothie King, one of the largest smoothie destinations in the world and the first health & fitness fast casual brand of its kind.
Since joining the brand in June 2023, Camille’s leadership has been instrumental in driving efficiency, innovation and operational excellence. In this role, she provides company-wide operational leadership and strategic vision, working directly with both company and franchise operators to drive Smoothie King’s transformative national growth.
With over 25 years of food service and operations experience, Camille has a proven track record of driving strong, sustainable sales and enhanced customer experiences for some of the world’s leading restaurant brands. Prior to her time at Smoothie King, Camille held multiple executive roles at Starbucks, most recently as Corporate Vice President, Public Affairs, and VP of Operations. Camille also previously served as Divisional Vice President, Franchise Operations for Jack in the Box and Regional Manager with ExxonMobil.
At Starbucks, she led key initiatives to enhance operational performance across thousands of locations, improved labor efficiency, and expanded diversity and inclusion efforts across the organization. Camille’s leadership played a critical role in navigating complex business environments, including managing through economic shifts and driving digital innovation in the customer experience. Her expertise in franchise management was honed at Jack in the Box, where she developed strategic initiatives that supported franchisees in maximizing profitability and operational consistency across regional markets.
Born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey, Camille attended Howard University in Washington D.C. where she earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing. Today, Camille resides in the DFW area with her husband, John, and is the mother of three adult children.
