Suzie Tsai is CEO of Bonchon, a global leader in Korean fried chicken with more than 150 restaurants in the U.S. and 450 worldwide. She joined Bonchon in August 2023 as Chief Growth Officer and was appointed CEO in January 2024. With Suzie at the helm, Bonchon achieved its strongest franchise development year in 2024, thoughtfully adopted technology with franchisees and guests in mind, optimized its popular menu, and grew the brand’s presence in new and existing markets.
Suzie’s recent accolades include being named among Fast Casual’s Top 25 Movers & Shakers and Lunchbox’s Top 30 Women in Food. She is an industry thought leader, sharing her insights as a conference speaker, Entrepreneur Magazine contributor, and GLEAM mentor. Suzie is a Korean American with more than 20 years of hospitality industry experience and previous leadership roles at Chili’s Grill & Bar, On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, and KidZania USA. Suzie is unabashedly blazing trails as a woman of color in a restaurant industry executive leadership position and is passionate about empowering other women.
