Sue joined Noodles in February of 2015 and prior to going into semi-retirement in April of 2024, was Executive Vice President, Inclusion, Diversity and People. Sue led the HR function, and her passion is creating a great experience for all team members through a caring and inclusive environment where the team can grow and develop and be their best. Over the past several years, Noodles has been recognized for its unique benefits offerings and focus on taking care of its team. Additionally, Noodles has also been recognized for the past 4 years by Forbes magazine as a best place for Diversity and was the top ranked restaurant company in 2022. In 2023 Sue was recognized by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation with the Advanced Restaurant Leadership Award for Leadership in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Prior to joining Noodles, Sue worked at Walgreens for 6 years as an HR leader supporting their retail pharmacies. She has spent most of her career in the restaurant industry working in various Operations, Training and HR leadership roles at companies including Chipotle, Rock Bottom, and Quiznos.
Sue remains connected to the industry through volunteer work as well as supporting restaurant organizations with her HR expertise.
